We're so excited for our 20 week Doctor's appointment! We'll get to see our baby for the first time since our 8 week appt. This is when we are able to find out the sex of Baby Bartlett - but we've decided to wait for the surprise! Ever since my sister waited to find out with her first baby, Reese, I've loved the idea of the surprise. When else in life do you get a real surprise? I'm going to have to make sure my midwife practices saying "It's a..." with excitement so it's all worth it:-)
The fun in waiting is also the guessing game. Everyone, except for Josh and me, seem to have a good guess at what we are having.
Our good friends Megan and Burt are also due in September and are waiting to find out what they are having. She sent me a fun link to 'old wives tells' that will help us to know what we are having. So, I thought it would be fun to share with you...

My answers are about even between the two. So, the guessing game continues!
The first time the Old Wives' Tales were right on, but the second time that list said boy. I also did the "wedding ring on a string" over my belly, and according to that, LM was supposed to be a boy too! (And as you know, the only thing boyish about her is her name.)
ReplyDeleteI am not going to guess what you're having because I want to be surprised too!
(And Josh is right, you do look beautiful. I can't wait until September.)
Love, Mommy Mouse
