Count your blessings...

Happy Thanksgiving!

The song lyics "Count your blessings, name them one by one" are playing in my head this morning. I'm so blessed and thankful for so much.

I'm thankful for...

My Baby is 1 month old!!!

First Bath

While we were waiting on Weaver's cord to fall off, we gave him a sponge bath at the sink. I'm not sure that he enjoyed it that much, but he tolerated it.
(By the way, I am very late with this post - promise we've bathed him before now)

Family Matters

Weaver is so lucky - from day one he has been surrounded by his loving & amazing family. And, no, I'm not talking about Josh and me - all of his Grandparents have been here to spoil & love on him.

Josh's parents were here for the first month - what a blessing! We think that Weaver was late because we was waiting on them to arrive from Wyoming. They got here just in time! It was so special to have both of our families here with us during this amazing and crazy journey.

Reese and Hayden are so excited about their baby cousin! Especially Hayden, who says that Weaver is his baby. It's adorable - he always tells me he "loves my baby". It doesn't get any cuter than that!

Thanks to Skype he has already met his Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Nebraska! We are super excited for them to meet soon!

Happy Halloween!

Weaver's first holiday!

Even Jola got into the Halloween spirit!

Have you ever seen a cuter football!

Relaxing after a long day with his sister.

My, how things have changed...

I was not lucky enough to know Josh in college, but I love hearing all of the stories. These guys definitely knew how to have fun. (I'm still wondering how some of their nicknames really originated.)

Life seems to change fast... they still know how to have fun, but it's a very different kind of fun now. They have all married amazing women and have beautiful families of their own.
I can only imagine they never dreamed that they would soon be having playdates for their kids!

This picture is too cute - Matt even has Weaver laughing.

Amazing Friends (and future babysitters)

We are blessed to have amazing friends! Weaver has been showered with love and attention already. Here are pictures from his many visitors.
