Well, it's been over 5 months since I last posted. I guess I have no good excuse, just trying to find my rhythm of working full time and spending the most time with my baby boy as possible. I've been blessed with a lot of extra special time with him since Josh is home for the summer with him. We get in lots of lunches and even work trips. Weaver has now traveled on more plains in his first 10 months of life than I did in my first 18 years! And, we've had a blast!
The boys joined me in Orlando, where I was working at a beauty trade show (a beauty junkies heaven!). Thanks to our friend Amber, we were able to go to Disney! A first for Weaver and me! It was soooo hot! While I worked, the boys went to The Villages to see Josh's best friends parents! (did you know 80K retirees live there?) and, they spent lots of time in the pool.
Our next trip was to New York! While I met with Beauty Editors at all of my favorite magazines, the boys took Manhattan! Weaver loved the great people watching. They even took in a fun music class! And, we were able to enjoy wonderful dinners each night! It was so nice to have them with me! (I will post pictures from each trip soon.... Just need to get them off of Josh's phone.)
In the last 5 months, our little man has grown and changed so much! But, he is still adorable and so sweet! Full of laughter and love!
I'm often sad that I'm not home with Weaver more. I've let myself obsess about it. Seriously obsess! Poor Josh. I've spent most of my free time (once the little man is asleep) working on plans for change....but haven't seen any yet. More to come on that later too.
We only have a few more weeks of 'summer'. Josh goes back to school soon. So, we are planning to knock out our summer house project in the next few weeks! Completely redoing our basement room to be our new family room. Wish us luck!
